Iris Jong

Iris is currently completing her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she has participated in competitive mooting and student leadership initiatives. She competed in the Harold G. Fox Moot and has been involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Women’s Caucus and the Asian Pacific Law Club. Iris has also gained international experience through her work as a Legal Intern at Mourant Ozannes LLP and as an Intern with Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited.

Before enrolling in law school, Iris earned an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences with a double major in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and Medical Cell Biology from Western University. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, fitness activities, reading and exploring food culture. Iris is fluent in Cantonese and French, with conversational proficiency in Korean and Mandarin.
