Overview

Meg Bennett is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice with experience before all levels of court in Ontario. She has acted on a broad range of complex disputes including multi-million and billion-dollar litigation and is known for her strategic, practical approach to high-stakes matters.

Meg’s practice spans commercial litigation and arbitration with particular experience in breach of contract disputes, fraud and employment matters, internal and regulatory investigations, injunctive relief, commercial real estate disputes and insurance coverage issues. She regularly assists clients with strategic litigation assessments helping clients manage risk and make informed decisions at every stage of a dispute.

In addition to her client work Meg is actively engaged in the life of the firm. She mentors junior lawyers, serves on the Associate Advisory Committee and assists with student recruitment. Meg remains committed to supporting and developing the firm’s next generation of lawyers.

Meg is a member of the Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association, Women in White Collar Crime and Toronto CREW.

Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate Meg both summered and articled with the firm.
